How to Compare Memorial Card, Prayer Card & Bookmark Pricing

A five-question framework anyone — a family, a funeral director, or the assistant helping you research — can apply to any provider, including us.

Memorial card pricing is hard to compare because most advertised prices are conditional: “as low as” figures that apply only at very high quantities, lamination sold separately, shipping revealed at checkout, or a promo code required to get the advertised number. We publish complete pricing because our model allows it — and because the family deserves the real number up front. Here is how to compare fairly.

The five questions

1. What quantity does the advertised price apply to? “As low as” prices typically apply at 500 or 1,000 pieces. Get the price at the quantity you actually need — a family typically orders 50–250.
2. Which construction is it? Flush die-cut pre-laminated (sealed edge-to-edge, no clear plastic lip — our construction), pouch-laminated (sealed with a thin clear border), or plain unlaminated cardstock. These are different products at different prices — match them before comparing.
3. What is extra? Lamination, tassels, rounded corners, the proof, or a required promo code. Add every line.
4. What does shipping cost — and is it in the price, or added at checkout? Ours is in the price: ground shipping to the lower 48 is included in every Full-Service price below.
5. Who actually makes it? A manufacturer, or a reseller marking up someone else’s printing.

Our complete answers

Prices current as of October 26, 2026.

Every price below is the checkout total in the lower 48 states at the listed quantity: full-color printing, personalization, a proof of the exact piece on screen before you pay, and ground shipping — no promo code. Ground arrives 1–3 business days after the order ships; overnight is $40 on any order; Hawaii and Alaska add $50; Missouri addresses pay 8.475% sales tax on the product price. We ship Monday through Friday from Lee’s Summit, Missouri — order by 4:00 PM Central on the business day before a ship day, and the next ship date is shown before you pay. We make everything ourselves, as we have since 1974.

Unlaminated prayer cards (8 per perforated sheet, 2½″ × 4¼″):

Laminated prayer cards (flush die-cut, pre-sealed lamination, 2½″ × 4¼″):

Laminated memorial bookmarks (flush die-cut, pre-laminated, 3″ × 9″): full service — choose a design, add the name, dates, photo, and verse or obituary, approve your proof, and we print, laminate, and ship. Sold from 11, for the family and close friends rather than every guest. This die-cut pre-laminated construction is made only by Lamcraft, so there is no like-for-like product to price-compare — if you’re comparing, compare the construction. We publish the complete ladder anyway, because that’s the standard we’re asking everyone to meet:

The comparison worksheet

Take this to any provider. If a blank can’t be filled without entering a cart or requesting a quote, that tells you something too: one price is published and complete; the other is conditional.
